Rooted in the Gospel
We pray that all that we do is shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the Good News that God comes to us in Jesus Christ, who came to live, die, and rise again to bring his people into new life with God.
What is Lutheranism?
Lutherans are Christians united in their response to God’s revelation in Jesus Christ, the living Word, while standing firm on the infallible authority of God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures. Lutherans originate in the churches of Northern Europe, but are now present around the world. Lutherans are committed to the Word and the Sacraments, the historic and catholic (universal) faith, the centrality of the Cross and God’s grace for the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection and new life of the believer in holy living, and the necessity and beauty of prayer. Lutherans are grounded in the Scriptures and tradition, united in the Gospel, but flexible in practice.

Our Doctrine
Our faith in Jesus is rooted in the Bible, the inspired and infallible word of God. Our worship reflects our handed down liturgy from Reformational and Medieval Sweden. We believe that the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds are true declarations of our faith. We believe that the Augsburg Confession and the Small Catechism are true summaries and expositions of Scripture.
